Extraction
Comedone Extraction
A procedure that uses sterile tools (needle/extractor) to safely clear blackheads (open comedones), whiteheads (closed comedones) or pus.
What is it?
The pore is gently opened with a needle or similar tool, then sebum, dead skin and pus are cleared from the lesion with an extractor/sterilized tool, reducing the risk of worsening inflammation and scarring.
Who it's for
Comedonal acne (blackheads/whiteheads), especially lesions where yellow pus has already formed (pustules).
After treatment
Don't touch the extracted areas; get an anti-inflammatory injection if inflammation develops; use sun protection; no harsh scrubs
Results and recovery time vary depending on your skin. Pricing and the exact number of sessions will be explained during your consultation after diagnosis. Written based on in-clinic materials as of October 2026.
