Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) · 高気圧酸素治療 · 高压氧治疗

Time needed60 minutes
Anesthesia & PainNo pain
DowntimeNone to minimal (no real downtime beyond temporary discomfort like ear fullness)
SessionsMultiple sessions depending on your goal (a series for whole-body recovery) (general guideline, pending doctor's confirmation)
Interval1 week apart
Maintenance(Varies by goal) (general guideline, pending doctor's confirmation)

What is it?

Breathing pure oxygen in a chamber pressurized above normal atmospheric pressure increases how much oxygen dissolves in the blood, boosting oxygen delivery to tissues. This in turn activates mitochondrial metabolism, promotes new blood vessel formation, reduces inflammation and stimulates collagen production, helping wounds heal and skin regenerate.

Who it's for

Reduces swelling and speeds recovery after procedures or surgery, supports skin collagen production, elasticity and regeneration, and helps with fatigue recovery and focus. Medically, it has internationally recognized indications for carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, non-healing wounds and more.

Good to know

Ear fullness, ringing or pain from pressure changes (Eustachian tube issues) is common; rarely, barotrauma (lung injury), oxygen toxicity or temporary vision changes have been reported. Swallowing or using the Valsalva maneuver early in the session can help.

Results and recovery time vary depending on your skin. Pricing and the exact number of sessions will be explained during your consultation after diagnosis. Written based on in-clinic materials as of October 2026.
