Combination Pigmentation Treatment Package
Combination Pigment Treatment Package
A package for complex pigmentation, where melasma, dark spots and redness all show up together. Instead of relying on a single laser, we combine different devices matched to each type of lesion and treat step by step.
What is it?
In real patients, pigmentation is usually a mix of melasma, freckles, dark spots, PIH and vascular redness on the same face, and each lesion responds to a different wavelength and approach. Melasma needs repeated low-energy treatment, well-defined spots need targeted shots, and redness needs a vessel-selective wavelength. The combination package puts these together based on your diagnosis, lifting your overall tone while avoiding the trap of treating one lesion and making another worse.
Who it's for
- Complex pigmentation with melasma, dark spots and dullness all mixed together
- Pigmentation alongside redness or dilated blood vessels
- Pigmentation patients who've plateaued with a single treatment
- Patients wanting overall improvement in tone and texture
At Datena
- = Premium pigmentation laser: CO2 + VRM4 + Accent + Ruby (6mm) + fine facial hair removal included. 5 or 10 sessions
- Soothing ointment to take home
Before treatment
- Lesions are diagnosed first (melasma vs. dark spots vs. vascular — the combination is finalized after the doctor's diagnosis)
- Please tell us in advance about recent tanning or sun exposure, photosensitizing medications, and pregnancy or breastfeeding
- This is a program with a set number and order of sessions — stopping partway limits the results
After treatment
- Strict sun protection (SPF50+) — a basic requirement for all combination pigmentation treatment
- Don't pick at any scabs; apply the healing ointment
- Watch for rebound pigmentation: sun exposure during treatment can actually make things worse
- Avoid saunas, alcohol and strong exfoliation for a few days after each treatment
- Guidance on maintenance between sessions (moisturizing and sun protection)
Good to know
- Side effects follow those of each component treatment (see the toning, pigmentation laser and vascular laser pages)
- Temporary scabbing or PIH possible where dark spots are targeted
- Overstimulating melasma areas can cause rebound worsening
- Temporary redness and irritation may build up from using multiple devices
Pairs well with
- Skin boosters and regenerative care may be added to help restore the skin barrier (at the doctor's discretion)
- Whitening medication and iontophoresis may be added (at the doctor's discretion)
"Pigmentation isn't just one thing — melasma, dark spots and redness each need a different laser" "Diagnosis first, then a custom package designed around the results" "Designed so that treating one lesion doesn't make the others stand out more" "A program with set sessions and order — finishing it matters" "Sunscreen isn't optional; it's part of the treatment"
Results and recovery time vary depending on your skin. Pricing and the exact number of sessions will be explained during your consultation after diagnosis. Written based on in-clinic materials as of October 2026.
