Sofnewmer
Datena's lifting package that combines Sofwave (high-intensity ultrasound) and Volnewmer (monopolar radiofrequency) in a single session, targeting surface collagen remodeling and deep volume tightening at the same time.
What is it?
Sofwave uses parallel-beam ultrasound (SUPERB) to create thermal coagulation zones in the mid-to-upper dermis (about 1.5mm), stimulating collagen renewal. Volnewmer is a Korean-made monopolar radiofrequency device that heats a broad volume from the dermis down to the subcutaneous fat layer, producing immediate collagen contraction and longer-term regeneration. By combining two different energy sources at two different depths without overlap, the goal is a synergistic result.
Who it's for
- Mild to moderate skin sagging and loss of firmness
- Those who also want to improve fine lines and skin texture
- An alternative combination for patients who find Ulthera-level pain hard to handle
At Datena
Sofwave 100 shots + Volnewmer 300 shots (+LDM)
Before treatment
- We check for metal implants, pacemakers and pregnancy
- We check for recent treatments (laser, filler, Botox), skin infections and active acne
- Remove metal accessories from the treatment area
After treatment
- Avoid saunas, alcohol and intense exercise on the day of treatment; use thorough sun protection
- Boost moisturizing; redness usually fades within a few hours
- Results appear gradually over 2–3 months
Good to know
- Temporary redness, swelling and warmth (a few hours to a few days)
- Rarely, bruising, altered sensation, or burns/blisters (rare)
- Due to the nature of radiofrequency, fat atrophy is unlikely but theoretically possible
Who should avoid this
