UltraPulse Encore
UltraPulse Encore (Fractional CO2 Laser — DeepFX/SCAAR FX)
A resurfacing laser that uses a 10,600nm CO2 fractional laser (Lumenis UltraPulse Encore) to deliver energy deep into the dermis, improving deep acne scars, enlarged pores and wrinkles through collagen regeneration.
What is it?
A CO2 laser that uses short pulses to precisely deliver energy deep into the dermis (up to about 4mm) while minimizing heat damage to surrounding tissue. It combines two modes: DeepFX (fine, deep-penetrating micro-ablation) and SCAAR FX (a high-energy mode designed for scars).
Who it's for
Deep boxcar and rolling acne scars, trauma/surgical scars, enlarged pores and fine lines. It is reported to stimulate more collagen than standard fractional lasers.
